America’s Alphabet Soup Federal Agencies Seem to Hate Conservatives The Garrett Ashley Mullet Show

Famed historian, classicist, and fellow at the Hoover Institution and National Review, Victor Davis Hanson says the FBI is a great threat to Democracy, in an article by Gary Bai and Jan Jekielek, The Epoch Times; August 13th, 2022

“This idea of a Federal Bureau of Investigation … its record is too dangerous to democracy.”

“If you want a lurid diary of Joe Biden’s and you’re in the FBI, and you become a retrieval service for the Biden family, you drag out James O’Keefe in his underwear.”

Former U.S. Senator and Presidential candidate Ron Paul in a video from 1988 said that the FBI was “designed to spy on Americans who might be disagreeing with policy,” Not the Bee shared to their site on August 10th, 2022.

It almost looks like the FBI was designed to spy on Americans who might be disagreeing with policy, especially foreign policy.

So the FBI, though I don’t think I can condemn everything they’ve ever done…I think the FBI has kept and continues to keep a lot of records on a lot of individuals.”

Republican candidate for Arizona governor Kari Lake suggests disbanding the FBI after raid on Trump in an interview with Steven Crowder which Not the Bee shared on August 11th, 2022.

100% I agree (with curtailing IRS and disbanding the FBI). We are sovereign states, we are not serfs of the federal government.

We created the federal government and now they’re like this big monster that’s taken over our lives.

And we’re gonna push back here and push on the 10th amendment… instead of letting these agencies with people who haven’t been elected by the people dictate what we do in our lives.

The IRS Criminal Investigations annual report 2021 is a preview of what to expect from 87,000 more agents, per Not the Bee on August 12th, 2022

“Democrats are making the IRS bigger than the Pentagon, the Department of State, the FBI, and the Border Patrol COMBINED!

Those IRS agents will come after you, not billionaires and big corporations!”

The DOJ is investigating the Southern Baptist Convention for its handling of abuse, according to reporting by Ryan Saavedra at The Daily Wire on August 12th, 2022.

“The SBC Executive Committee recently became aware that the Department of Justice has initiated an investigation into the Southern Baptist Convention, and that the investigation will include multiple SBC entities.”

“Individually and collectively each SBC entity is resolved to fully and completely cooperate with the investigation.”

Epidemiologist Dr. Jay Bhattacharya says the updated CDC COVID-19 Guidance is ‘Admitting It Was Wrong, ’ according to reporting from Zachary Stieber and Jan Jekielek, at The Epoch Times on August 13th, 2022.

“The CDC is admitting it was wrong here, although they won’t put it in those words.”

“What they’ll say is that, well, ‘the population is more immunized now, has more natural immunity now, and now is the time—the science has changed.’”

“This is two years too late, but it’s a good step.”

Commentary and Conclusion

Let’s do take a look at the cost-benefit to the American people for some of America’s alphabet soup federal entities – the FBI, DOJ, IRS, USDA, and CDC, and other similar departments, bureaus, services, agencies, and centers. And let’s do ask the question whether it would be a good thing on the whole if some of these federal agencies were either thoroughly audited and trimmed accordingly, or else abolished entirely.

There is no disputing they separately and together represent a kind of supra-governmental force in American public and private life. Similarly, the typical American has no idea who either the leadership or rank-and-file of these institutions are, or how they obtain and wield their power over our lives in their particular sectors.

I hold that if we do not know what they are doing, we therefore cannot possibly hold them accountable. Furthermore, at best, it seems to me as though there is a redundancy and inefficiency to the functions of these institutions.

Where state and local government could serve in these capacities, for instance, that would be preferable. Yet these bodies are supposed to be apolitical, and yet have become nakedly partisan.

Or who can say there is an impartiality to the way they operate relative progressives and conservatives in the U.S.?

At some point we must concede that something like a Deep State exists, however many are uncomfortable with that term. Moreover, if this thing like a Deep State does indeed exist, operating in the shadows or else beyond accountability, it is clearly a tool of oppression and subversion fashioned and leveraged against conservatives, and expected to do so more broadly and deeply in the coming months and years if something is not done.

But if that is, as I suppose, an evil thing on the whole, what if anything can we do to abolish it? We will never be able to get at an answer if we cannot even begin to ask the questions. So here I go, and ask the question in light of recent developments over even just the past week.
