A native of Glendive, Montana, Garrett has been married to Lauren since 2006 – in which time they have lived in three states and had eight children – Josiah, Elihu, Solomon, Daniel, Evelyn, Enoch, John, and Andrew. Working in the oil and gas industry as a Systems Integrator to pay the bills, Garrett writes and podcasts before-hours, after-hours, and on his days off.
